With 40 years of service, the Community Associations Institute (CAI) must be doing something right. The CAI has remained dedicated to its purpose of building better communities, providing education and resources to community association homeowner leaders, professional managers, association management companies and other businesses and professionals who provide products and services to community associations. In addition, to servicing these areas CAI-NJ, one of 60 national and international chapters, is hosting its CAI Senior Summit today. The Senior Summit will be made possible by the help of various organizations and volunteers. This year, our very own American Pool New Jersey is sponsoring the event. Ben Basch, President of AP New Jersey, is a member of the Senior Summit Work Group and will be working with other professionals to organize and promote the event.

The Senior Summit is an informative session that is apart of CAI-NJ’s educational series. The event will focus on common issues facing boards, committees and homeowners in both retirement and active adult communities. During the event, attendees will have the chance to have their questions answered by a panel of experts. Topics will include:

  • Solar/Energy Options
  • Transition
  • Capital Projects & Reserves
  • Budgeting. Insurance & Financial Matters
  • Community Investment Options
  • Landscape Challenges
  • Legislation
  • Dealing with Vacant Units
  • Lifestyle Activities & Special Events

The Summit promises to provide a wealth of information to the local community and professionals searching for insight on topics and common concerns that are popular today.
