At American Pool, your safety is always our number one priority. We pledge to stay up-to-date with all product recalls to give our customers a stress and worry free pool experience.

Pool equipment manufacturer S.R. Smith is voluntarily recalling affected heliX® residential pool slides. S.R. Smith has found that it is possible for a child to exit the slide before entering the pool, which poses a fall hazard and can result in serious injury.

This recall WILL NOT require you to remove your slide, S.R. Smith will be sending customers with affected slides a free Slide Rail Extension kit that adds height to the lower section of the outer slide wall which will prevent a child from exiting the slide before entering the pool.

All heliX slide owners with the following serial numbers are being asked to participate in this recall. These numbers can be found on the product label located on the top right side of the slide near the staircase rail.
