Assistant Regional Manager – American Pool New Jersey

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the active preparation and operation of approximately 35 commercial pool sites. Will oversee lifeguard staff and daily operations. Experience in aquatics, CPO certification helpful, but willing to train the right individual. Strong communication and customer service skills are required.

Office Administrator – American Pool New Jersey

The Office Administrator is responsible for organizing and coordinating office operations and procedures in order to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency. The Office Administrator reports to the company President and is responsible for general administrative functions required in the day-to-day operation of the business.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Process accounts receivables, payables
  • Maintain office area and equipment
  • Prepare timely weekly & monthly financial packages
  • Track customer accounts, contracts, data etc.
  • Manage petty cash
  • Maintain client database/CRM
  • Maintain office filing
  • Ensure security and confidentiality of data
  • Manage adherence to office policies and procedures
  • Implement procedural and policy changes to improve operational efficiency
  • Direct any office administrative assistants
  • Prepare Sales Proposals

Required Experience:

  • Collections experience.

American Pool’s Columbia, Maryland office  is looking for a college-level individual currently studying Human Resources to work with our Staffing Department on current, high-priority projects for the 2015 semester.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Calling applicants and scheduling interviews

Entry Level position which requires someone who is open to change and enjoys a fast paced environment. A prior swimming pool background is not required. A successful candidate will have a knack for putting together the “pieces of the puzzle” when coordinating schedules and staff. Candidates must have excellent time management, organizational and communication skills, and should be detail oriented. The candidate must be willing to work a flexible schedule which will require evenings and weekends during our busy season (March through September).

Assistant Regional Manager – American Pool Maryland

American Pool is a swimming pool management, maintenance and construction company located in Columbia, MD.  The Assistant Regional Manager is responsible for assisting the Regional Manager in overall operation of 30-60 commercial pool sites. Focus is on daily operations, which includes maintenance, lifeguard and area supervisor management, sales, pre-season preparation of pools, and closing of pools. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with sometimes demanding hours. Experience is preferred, but we will train the right person.
