Sean Johnson
Sean currently serves as the President of American Pool New York and has held this position since 2007. Growing up, he started his own neighborhood pool cleaning business while working as a lifeguard in high school. He joined American Pool as an area supervisor in 2001 and was offered the opportunity to start the New York office at the age of 21. Since it’s inception he has helped it grow into the largest swimming pool management company in the Northeast. Sean sees his role as strategic – implementing new processes and innovating operations. He loves that every day is a unique challenge. He also enjoys seeing his lifeguards rise to their true potential.

Sean graduated from Fordham University with a degree in Economics. In his free time, Sean is an avid outdoorsman. He tries to spends as much time as possible in the Adirondack and Catskill mountains during the off season. He also volunteers as an adult leader with the Boy Scout troop that he’s been a member of for 20 years (as an Eagle Scout). Another interest includes tinkering with electronics and robots, especially pool robots.

Nicholas Vaccarello
Nicholas is the Regional Manager at American Pool New York. He started his career in the pool industry as a lifeguard while attending high school. He moved his way up the ladder as an area supervisor, assistant regional manager and regional manager. Today, he has 16 years of experience under his belt. He is well versed in all facets of the business and helps with anything from staffing to delivery chlorine when needed.

Nicholas studied Criminal Justice at Iona College. When he’s away from the office, he loves playing sports and is an avid follower of the New York Jets, Mets and Rangers.

Norbert Wnuk
Norbert started working for American Pool New York as a lifeguard in 2001. He worked part time while he finished his undergraduate degree at Rutgers University. He was then promoted to Supervisor and Assistant Regional Manager before landing his current position of Regional Manager in 2003. He’s passionate about fostering strong relationships with clients and helping them with any problems they may have. Norbert enjoys the fact that the pool industry is constantly changing and that no two days are the same. His vast knowledge of pools has helped him become a strong point-of-contact for customers.

In his spare time, Norbert referees for high school basketball and soccer and loves spending time with his family.

John Dugan
As a Regional Manager for American Pool New York, John oversees all the service operations and manages relationships with customers for New York City.

John started his career in the pool industry as a lifeguard in college and moved his way up to Supervisor and Assistant Regional Manager before becoming Regional Manager in 2010. He has extensive knowledge in all aspects of the pool industry and he enjoys training employees and customers on proper pool operations.

John takes pride in working with his fellow coworkers in completing projects that improve communities. He is the recipient of the 2008 Customer Service Award and the 2012 President’s Award.

John graduated college with a degree in Criminal Justice. He loves spending time with his wife and daughters and also enjoys sports and the outdoors.

Justin Luciani
Justin currently serves as the Service Manager for American Pool New York. He started his career in the pool industry as a lifeguard in 2002 and got into construction working as a mason during college. Today he combines these two experiences as he helps customers with construction services such as filter room plumbing.

Justin enjoys spending time with his wife and kids along with his dog, cat and rabbit.

Anthony LeVoci
Anthony currently serves as Assistant Regional Manager for the New York office. He started working for the company in 2001 as one of American Pool New York’s first lifeguards in its inaugural season. He is experienced in training personnel and managing field operations. Anthony’s favorite part of working in this industry is the people. He has made many new friends and acquaintances over the years.

Anthony graduated from Boston College with a degree in both Economics and Classical Languages. When not working, he enjoys backpacking, running and skiing.
