Sean currently serves as the President of American Pool New York and has held this position since 2007. Growing up, he started his own neighborhood pool cleaning business while working as a lifeguard in high school. He joined American Pool as an area supervisor in 2001 and was offered the opportunity to start the New York office at the age of 21. Since its inception, he has helped it grow into the largest swimming pool management company in the Northeast.
Sean graduated from Fordham University with a degree in Economics. In his free time, Sean is an avid outdoorsman and tries to spend his time in the off-season in the mountains as much as possible, He also volunteers as an adult leader with the Boy Scout troop as an Eagle Scout.
Sal currently serves as the Chief Business Officer for American Pool New York and has held the position since 2017. In this position, Sal is primarily responsible for finance and administration and provides leadership and strategic and operational direction to the management team. He has over 30 years of experience in finance and operations with both large corporations and smaller entrepreneurial organizations.
Sal holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Economics from New York University and JD from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University. He is an avid Yankee fan and when he’s away from the office, enjoys spending time with his wife, three daughters and two Boston Terriers.
Nicholas is the Regional Manager at American Pool New York. and started his career in the pool industry as a lifeguard while attending high school. He moved his way up the ladder as an area supervisor, assistant regional manager, and regional manager. Today, he has 16 years of experience and is well versed in all facets of the business.
Nicholas studied Criminal Justice at Iona College. When he’s away from the office, he loves playing sports and is an avid follower of the New York Jets, Mets, and Rangers.
Norbert started working for American Pool New York as a lifeguard in 2001. He worked part-time while he finished his undergraduate degree at Rutgers University. He was then promoted to Supervisor and Assistant Regional Manager before landing his current position of Regional Manager in 2003. He’s passionate about fostering strong relationships with clients and helping them with any problems they may have. Norbert enjoys the fact that the pool industry is constantly changing and that no two days are the same. His vast knowledge of pools has helped him become a strong point-of-contact for customers.
In his spare time, Norbert referees for high school basketball and soccer and loves spending time with his family.
As a Regional Manager for American Pool New York, John oversees all the service operations and manages relationships with customers for New York City.
John started his career in the pool industry as a lifeguard in college and moved his way up to Supervisor and Assistant Regional Manager before becoming Regional Manager in 2010. He has extensive knowledge in all aspects of the pool industry and enjoys training employees and customers on proper pool operations. John is the recipient of the 2008 Customer Service Award and the 2012 President’s Award.
John graduated from college with a degree in Criminal Justice. He loves spending time with his wife and daughters and also enjoys sports and the outdoors.
Justin currently serves as the Service Manager for American Pool New York. He started his career in the pool industry as a lifeguard in 2002 and got into construction working as a mason during college. Today he combines these two experiences as he helps customers with construction services.
Justin enjoys spending time with his wife and kids along with his dog, cat, and rabbit.
