Our Columbia, Maryland office has developed a capable team of associates with deep industry experience. We’re especially proud of the fact that many of our professionals started with us as lifeguards themselves, and worked their way through the ranks to senior positions.

This team of hardworking, dedicated pool professionals are licensed by the State of Maryland Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation, and are members of the Maryland Multi-Housing Association and Community Associations Institute. They are also PHTA certified through our in-house training programs.

Our Maryland office opened its doors in 1987, soon after American Pool began providing Commercial Pool Management Services. Michelle Porter began her career with the company in 1989 and has served as the office President since 2008.
