Halloween is one of the funnest holiday’s of the year! Dress up your pool area with colored water, flashing lights, scary or fall themed decor, animated additions to spook your guests, and much more. Here are some of our favorite ways you can make your pool the next best halloween neighborhood attraction!
Floating Pool Attractions
Did you know that pumpkins can float?! Just simply carve up your best design onto a pumpkin and gently put it on top of your water, put a candle inside before you put in the water to make for an extra cool ambience. The classic pumpkin style candy baskets also float, place colored lights or a regular tea light in it and watch the lights dance on the water!
Colored Pool Water
There are many products on the market that you can put into your pool water to change the color. Go with a swamp thing green or a bloodbath red, any color will be sure to stun your party guests and have them asking “how did you do that?!”
Spooky Themed Decor
Spooky is in the eye of the beholder!! Use your own unique taste to get creative with your halloween pool decor. Take a skelton, witch, or zombie and float them in an inner tube to give your guests a hilarious scare. Hang lights or pumpkins through trees or around the deck area for an orange glow.
Flashing Lights
Depending on your own taste, adding lighting to the outside area of your pool can completely change the look. We recommend going for some strobe lights at night (with precaution) to get the dance party started, or simply some red glowing lights to keep the mood spooky. With so many options on the market, make the party your own by adding a unique touch.
Just because the cooler weather is slowly coming in doesn’t mean the pool season is over just yet. Think your pool water is too cool for the weather? Talk to us about adding a heat pump to your favorite amenities to extend your swim season well into the fall or winter months.
